Thank you both for a wonderful day on Sunday. Robert and I had a great time and can’t wait to try some of the recipes. It was a lot of fun – only problem it went too quickly. We are both looking forward to your next timetable coming out so we can book our next class and spend another lovely weekend in Akaroa.

 Several days a week all year round The Akaroa Cooking School shares recipes, cooking ideas and entertaining secrets for up to twelve participants in the quaint seaside village of Akaroa. The school is opposite the main wharf and has spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding hills.
The classes show participants how to prepare the dishes on that day’s menu in a relaxed environment. You will learn all about where the food has come from and many stories will be told and your questions answered.
Our philosophy is that food is all about sharing with friends and having fun. In the process you will learn about the local suppliers that we purchase our seasonal produce from.
A long lunch at the dining table will then be served savouring every dish from the class with matching award winning local wines. You will leave with all of the recipes from the day and all participants need to bring are their culinary interest, a sense of humour and a healthy appetite.

Refund & Cancellation Policies
If you can’t attend a class you’re booked for, you may send a replacement. Please let us know that person's name as soon as possible. If you don’t have a substitute, contact us as early as possible. There is often a waiting list for classes, so we may be able to arrange a replacement for you. However, if your place is left empty on the day, there will be no refund of the class fee.
Sometimes we have to cancel or change a class. In that event, participants will be invited to transfer their booking to another class or receive a full refund.
